Frequently
Asked Questions
Will the training harm my vehicle?
No. We have an impeccable safety record on all our courses, and
thanks to our experienced trainers, participants are never extended
beyond their capabilities.
What
about tyre wear?
The surface used at our training centre in East Perth has been laid
specifically to ensure a smooth, wet braking area. In general, vehicle
sympathy is given particular attention throughout all of our training
courses.
What
about vehicles?
The best vehicle to use is the one that you normally drive. Each
and every car is different, and will react different to our emergency
simulations.
But, if required, Drive Safe Australia can provide a vehicle. 4WD vehicles are provided for metro courses and suitable on-site venues.
How
big are the groups?
Most groups are between eight and 12 people (minimum two trainers), this being the group
size that Drive Safe Australia finds most effective. It allows good
interaction among participants, as well as allowing drivers to learn
from watching, as well as driving.
Group sizes vary for 4WD courses, with a maximum participant/trainer ratio of 4:1. |
